-Got a C+ in my BFA class. Was very upset. Rectified issues, adjusted methods, moved forward.
-Spend Winter term making molds and slipcasting. Process helped, but didn't solve the overall problem.
-Passed Winter term despite 4 very demanding studio classes: Photography, Advanced Painting, Drawing and my BFA.
-Took some time away from the Bush Barn to focus on school work. Just recently started going back.
-And a whole lot of other stuff too....
I also recently co-curated and installed a show at the Bush Barn. The show is titled "Myriad: SAA Intern Show." We decided on this title because everyone's work was very different and so it was difficult to put everything together. Luckily, a very abstract/geometric theme came together at the end when everyone dropped off their work.
The whole show was surprisingly challenging. My biggest hurdle was coordinating with the other Interns to get information and work delivered. I think in the future I need to be a bit more demanding and less casual. It was an excellent learning experience in something I hope to do again in the future.
